The backbone of ConnectingCare is the National Health Services Directory (NHSD). This online directory contains more than 5,000 service providers capable of accepting electronic referrals and messages from ConnectingCare.
There are two options for sending eReferrals. Users able to complete the recipient’s standard referral template hosted within the ConnectingCare website or attach a pre-completed referral saved from their organisation’s client management system. Other files can also be securely sent between users, making it a complete solution for secure messaging.
ConnectingCare complies with all health information privacy legislation and principles as it does not store any information in its own system identifying patients or clients. It has been in use for more than 15 years, demonstrating reliability, stability and security.
ConnectingCare works seamlessly with other HealthConnex Solutions, enabling further improvements to work flow. For example, Secure Message Delivery (SMD) technology is used for messages sent between Argus and ConnectingCare, providing true interoperability and paving the way for Secure Message Interchange (SMI) functionality.
