HL7 Working Group Meeting and FHIR Connectathon

21 May 2015 - Last week HealthConnex participated the Health Level Seven International (HL7) Working Group Meeting (WGM) in Paris. Offering an opportunity for HL7 International work groups a chance to work on standards face-to-face as well as network with industry leaders from around the world, the WGM provides a valuable educational resource for the healthcare IT community.

HealthConnex representatives Pamela Scicluna, General Manager of eHealth Solutions and Brian Postlethwaite, Solutions Architect attended the conference; with Pamela presenting a case study on establishing the National Health Services Directory in Australia. Brian participated in a Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR®) Connectathon, which was an opportunity to contribute to development and testing of FHIR solutions while working directly with other FHIR developers and senior members of the FHIR standards development team.
