Progress for Partners in Recovery

Perth Central & East Metro Medicare Local (PCEMML) is the lead agency for the Partners in Recovery (PIR) program within the catchment.

Launched nationally in 2013, PIR aims to better support people with severe and persistent mental illness with complex needs to access services across multiple sectors in a more co-ordinated and integrated way.

The PIR program promotes collective ownership and encourages innovative solutions to ensure effective and timely access to services and supports to sustain optimal health and wellbeing.

To coincide with the organisation's implementation of tcm software in December last year, consultants at tcm's Melbourne office developed a number of specialist survey forms. The custom forms are called up from within the tcm application to capture client details for action plans, needs and risk assessments. These forms provide the foundation for the organisation's minimum data set reporting for PIR.

The tcm application is also being implemented at Wide Bay Medicare Local in Bundaberg,  Queensland to support their Partners in Recovery development.
