Memberships & Partners

HealthConnex is an active member of eHealth peak bodies. Membership of organisations such as HISA, HL7 Australia, MSIA and OMG ensures that our products stay current, are compliant with standards and that the voice of our clients is represented in the industry.

HISA

The goal of the Health Informatics Society of Australia is to improve healthcare through technology and information.  HealthConnex stays in touch with the latest developments through this peak national health informatics body.

HL7

HL7 is a global standardisation body that supports the creation and effective use of eHealth standards. Membership of HL7 Australia ensures the interoperability of our messaging solutions and contribution to improving the capability of health information systems.

MSIA

The Medical Software Industry of Australia represents the interests of the Australian commercial industry that develops health software. The organisation ensures a “real-world” voice when policy and funding decisions are being made and provides a forum for cooperation between software vendors.

Object Management Group

The Object Management Group is an international, open membership, not-for-profit computer industry standards consortium.

OMG’s mission is to develop enterprise integration standards that provide real-world value.

OMG’s modelling standards, including the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Model Driven Architecture (MDA), enable powerful visual design, execution and maintenance of software and other processes.

Another OMG initiative, developed by HealthConnex, is the ServD specification which has been adopted as an international standard for Service Directory architecture.
